Designing a company logo can be difficult. But creating a sports team logo that everyone wants to associate with must be so much more challenging.
Especially when the team’s name is a rabbit, duck or Newfoundland dog.
And exponentially more difficult if you have a minuscule budget!
All three of these teams pull it off wonderfully, we think. But our hats really go off to South Dakota State Univ. Their awesome jackrabbit logo (with two variations) cost a total of $1,000!

It is easy to imagine this logo as a die cut cut-out roadside sign for a barber shop. (It’s noticeable and unexpected, though perhaps not as irresistible as a beer logo.)
